Over and District Riding Club

Welcome to Over & District Riding Club's web pages. Please take some time to click on the buttons on the left to learn more about our club and our activities.

We are a friendly BHS-affiliated club based in south Cambridgeshire with a busy calendar of events throughout the year for our members including flatwork, jumping and xc rallies, dressage and jumping competitions, gymkhanas and showing shows as regular events.

Our regular instructors include Virginia Brinton, Nat Dixon and Simon Somers.

In addition we put on a variety of one-off demos and clinics covering diverse subjects such as trec, road safety, natural horsemanship, saddlery and health checks. We have an annual beach riding weekend and a good social side including trips to Burghley, Hickstead, barbecues and end-of-season dinners.

Our members-only monthly evening fun rallies at our field are also very popular. Jumps, dressage and gymkhana equipment are available with people to raise or lower jumps, read tests for riders. Also space for members to bring along their instructors for their own lessons, or just to ride their young horse up, chill out and take in the atmosphere.

Through our affiliated to BHS British Riding Clubs, our members have the opportunity to represent ODRC in jumping, dressage and xc.

We very much look forward to meeting you and your horse or pony.
